According to statistics, Turkey’s rebar exports amounted to approximately 5.3 million tons in the first 11 months of 2020, sliding by 2.9% compared to the same period a year earlier.
Among them, Yemen ranked first with 855,000 tons, keeping flat year on year; followed by Israel’s 850,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 5%. Hong Kong became Turkey’s third-largest export destination, with a total of around 533,000 tons, surging by 148.1% year on year.
Turkey’s rebar export volume was expected to be roughly 400,000 tons, far lower than 1.38 million tons in 2016.
